[IT] I Colori dello Yoga — Lo yoga è l’arte di rendere vivi i colori dei chakra per connettersi all’Assoluto, mentre dipingere le asana è il mio modo di fare yoga. I colori dello Yoga sono come vortici di energia che danno vita e passione a queste mie opere. La figura dello yogi è sempre schematizzata ma rispecchia la forma umana.
[EN] The Colors of Yoga — Yoga is the art of making the colors of the chakras alive to connect to the Absolute, while painting the asanas is my way of doing yoga. The colors of Yoga are like whirlpools of energy that give life and passion to these my works. The figure of the yogi is always schematized but reflects the human form.

[IT] L’energia dei chakra è l’energia stessa della vita. I diversi cerchi concentrici, che si espandono dalla figura dello yogi, rappresentano i vortici di energia che rendono luminosi i colori dello yoga.
[EN] The energy of the chakras is the energy of life itself. The different concentric circles, which expand from the figure of the yogi, represent the vortices of energy that make the colors of yoga luminous.

[IT] La figura dello yogi si riflette nello specchio appagato della realizzazione del sé. Il cuore infatti è come uno specchio terso che riflette la verità, un amore purificato dalle polveri dell’ego che rispecchia il nostro vero sé.
[EN] The yogi reflects himself in the mirror, satisfied with the realization of the self. The heart is like a clear mirror that reflects the truth, a love purified by the dust of the ego that reflects our true self.

[IT] La composizione raffigura lo yogi nell’atteggiamento di liberarsi dalle catene simboliche che ostacolano la sua crescita spirituale e i colori dei chakra risplendono quando il praticante si libera dalle catene dell’ego.
[EN] The composition depicts the yogi in the attitude of freeing himself from the symbolic chains that hinder his spiritual growth and the colors of the chakras shine when the practitioner frees himself from the chains of the ego.

[IT] Attraverso la torsione della colonna vertebrale, lo yogi cambia la prospettiva della sua osservazione. Con una mano prende le energie di Madre Terra e con l’altra, facendosi strumento di trasformazione, manda le benedizioni a chiunque voglia aprirsi ad un mondo di luci e colori. 
[EN] Through the twist of the vertebral column, the yogi changes the perspective of his observation. With one hand he takes the energies of Mother Earth and with the other, becoming an instrument of transformation, he sends blessings to anyone who wants to open himself to a world of lights and colors.

[IT] Nelle figure dell’arco, lo yogi crea un ponte tra il sé e il Sé, tra la materia e il regno divino. Come gli stipiti di una finestra rivolta verso l’esterno, il corpo del praticante protetto da un delicato fiore di loto, da risalto alla centralità della Luna, che simboleggia l’introspezione della ricerca spirituale. 
[EN] In the figures of the bow, the yogi creates a bridge between the self and the Self, between matter and the divine kingdom. Like the jambs of a window that looks outwards, the practitioner’s body protected by a delicate lotus flower emphasizes the centrality of the Moon, which symbolizes the introspection of spiritual research.

[IT] La posizione dello yoga (asana) chiamata “cane a testa in giù” è radicata sulla Terra e attraverso la vibrazione del mantra Om, lo Yogi medita sull’infinito (rappresentato dalla spirale) e si connette verso l’alto, capovolgendo la propria prospettiva. L’energia dello yogi si irradia dalle mani e dai piedi. La Terra è rappresentata da una serie di colline verdeggianti con qualche simbolo di pianta e l’Universo è mostrato a destra con tonalità celesti.
[EN] The position of yoga (asana) called ‘downward facing dog’ is rooted to the Earth and through the vibration of the Om mantra, the Yogi meditates on the infinity (represented by the spiral) and connects upward, reversing his own perspective. The energy of the yogi radiates from the hands and feet. The Earth is represented by a series of verdant hills with some plant symbols and the Universe is shown on the right with celestial hues.

[IT] Alla base del dipinto è rappresentato il lago dal quale emerge uno scoglio.  Lo yogi rappresenta l’albero le cui radici si diramano dalla base del piede in equilibrio penetrando nella roccia, mentre i lunghi capelli rappresentano i rami frondosi dell’albero, che si estendono verso l’Universo, rappresentato in alto dai colori blu e violetto. La posizione dell’albero (vrksasana) offre un rilevante valore simbolico, in quanto indica la necessità di piantare radici profonde nel terreno, solo così ci si può elevare verso il cielo. Le radici ancorano al terreno, mentre i lunghi capelli simboleggiano le ali per volare e connettersi verso l’alto. Dalle mani esce un fascio di luce che unisce il praticante di yoga al cielo. 
[EN] At the base of the painting is the lake from which emerges a rock. The yogi represents the tree whose roots branch off from the base of the foot in equilibrium penetrating the rock, while the long hair represents the leafy branches of the tree, which extend towards the Universe, represented at the top by the blue and violet colors. The position of the tree (vrksasana) offers a significant symbolic value, as it indicates the need to plant deep roots in the ground, only in this way can one rise towards the sky. The roots anchor to the ground, while the long hair symbolizes the wings to fly and connect upwards.  From the hands comes a beam of light that unites the yoga practitioner to the sky.

[IT] Lo yogi assume la posizione del “cane a testa in sù” e protendendosi verso l’alto sperimenta uno stato di unità con l’Universo. I suoi chakra, come raggi colorati, si aprono nell’etere attraverso le vibrazione della sillaba Om, che rappresenta il suono della Creazione.
[EN] The yogi assumes the position of the “upward facing dog” and, reaching upwards, he experiences a state of unity with the Universe. His chakras, like colored rays, open in the ether through the vibrations of the Om syllable, which represents the sound of Creation.

[IT] Come il giorno e la notte hanno un rendez-vous nel crepuscolo prima dell’alba e dopo il tramonto, così lo yoga unisce l’energia maschile del Sole all’energia femminile della Luna, in cui entrambe le energie sono in perfetto equilibrio. Le ciocche dei capelli simboleggiano l’energia che si espande nell’Universo, rappresentato dalle diverse tonalità di blu e dalle stelle. 
[EN] As day and night have a rendezvous in the twilight before dawn and after sunset, so yoga combines the male energy of the Sun with the feminine energy of the Moon, in which both energies are in perfect balance. The hair strands symbolize the energy that expands in the Universe, represented by the different shades of blue and the stars.

[IT] I vortici di energia, che richiamano i colori tradizionali dei chakra, si emanano come cerchi concentrici dallo yogi impegnato nel trovare il suo equilibrio nella pratica dello yoga, espandendo il corpo nelle quattro direzioni cardinali. 
[EN] The vortices of energy, which recall the traditional colors of the chakras, spread like concentric circles by the yogi, who is engaged in finding his balance in the practice of yoga, expanding the body in the four cardinal directions.
